Whether you're planning a sports session for your young athlete or making it a part of your Senior's photoshoot, you may be wondering what all you need to bring to your session. Below are some helpful tips and ideas to help you feel more prepared.

YOUR UNIFORM

I know, it's obvious. But your uniform has a lot of pieces to it that you might forget. And not only am I saying your uniform, I'm saying your clean uniform. However, we might get dirty later on in your session.

When you're packing up your uniform try to remember all the things that go with it. Belts, shoes, hats, helmets, socks. If you wear it for your game - make sure you pack it. Also, if you have an away vs. home jersey, consider bringing both.

Lay everything out the night before so it's ready to go. If your jersey/pants/skirt is prone to getting wrinkled, hang it up instead of packing it in a bag.

GAME DAY ITEMS & GEAR

What are your game day essentials? What can you not play the game without? Bring those items. Baseball or softball player? Bring baseballs/softballs, bats, gloves, batting gloves, and catchers gear. Football player? Bring your helmet and football. Cheerleader? Bring poms, megaphone, and also consider bringing a ball/gear for the sport you cheer for. Anything that plays an important or fun role in your sport.

AWARDS & OTHER MEMORABILIA

Have you won any awards, medals or trophies? Let's include them! We want to show off all of your amazing accomplishments! Also consider how you want to display them - do you want to lay on the ground with them? Hang them from a fence, barbell, bat, etc.? This is something we will want to discuss prior to your session. So, if you have extra items you would like to show off, let's chat!

You might also want to consider any items from your previous years of your sport. Maybe you have old t-shirts/jerseys from your previous years. Or perhaps you have been playing this since you were little bitty and mom saved all your tiny dance costumes, clothes and shoes. Your mom is going to love the opportunity to show off all of those special things she has saved back. This is also a great way to capture all of those things into one image as a special keepsake.

COLLEGE SHIRTS & GEAR

Have you committed or know what college you will be attending next year? Feel free to bring your future college's t-shirt to celebrate! You can also use college flags, pennants, and any other cool items if you want!

OTHER ACCESSORIES

Bring anything extra that is related to your sport or that reflects your personality. Things like eye black, football visors, flags, large chain, barbell/weights, any prop you can think of. Let's get creative! If you need any help with extra items, just reach out. I might have access to them!
